When will Christmas music start playing on local Sirius radio stations in 2022? | Entertainment
Depending on who you ask, it’s never too early to start listening to Christmas music.
Radio station WARM 103.3, which usually broadcasts pop songs, will switch to exclusively broadcasting Christmas music starting Wednesday, November 9 at 5 p.m.
The channel will return to its usual musical repertoire after the end-of-year celebrations.
When is the best time for Christmas music to start playing on the radio?
The radio station is currently running a contest on its Facebook page about which song to play first, Andy Williams’ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You,” or “Christmas Eve Sarajevo” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Voting doubles as entry into a raffle to win tickets to the Pentatonix and Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas concerts in Hershey.
SiriusXM launched numerous Christmas channels on its satellite radio stations, as well as its streaming service, on November 1, including favorites like Holiday Traditions, Hallmark Channel Radio and ’70s/’80s Holidays.
