UPDATE – Both 987’s The Big Boy (KSID-FM) and Cheyenne County Country (KSID-AM) returned to the air at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. The station’s phone lines have also returned to normal operation.

SIDNEY — An internet outage at Flood Communications Studios was blamed for shutting down two radio stations in Sidney on Tuesday.

987 The Big Boy (KSID-FM) and Cheyenne County Country (KSID-AM) were off the air early Tuesday morning due to technical difficulties.

The station’s phone lines were also down Tuesday morning.

Station manager Hunter Arterburn said a technical team was looking into the issue and hoped to be back on the air with normal programming as soon as possible. He thanked listeners for their patience and apologized for the inconvenience.

It says if you ever need to contact the radio station, please email [email protected] or find both stations on social media.
