SiriusXM Canada Launches Tragically Trendy Radio Channel

SiriusXM Canada recently announced the launch of The tragically connected radio, featuring music from the iconic Kingston band and celebrating The Hip’s musical legacy – now available online and on the SiriusXM app.

The streaming service audience will have exclusive access to never-before-released live recordings from the group’s personal safe; archived interviews and track-by-track meetings with Gord Downie, Rob Baker, Johnny Fay, Paul Langlois and Gord Sinclair; solo work of all members; In addition, the group will host and schedule specialized shows at their iconic Bathouse Studios. The channel will also feature hosted programs with and music from other prominent artists who have been influenced by the group.

“It is an honor to be invited to present themselves in the same light as some of our heroes,” the group said. “We are thrilled to be a part of the programming and development of The Tragically Hip Radio on SiriusXM.”

Tragically Hip Radio went live in September on Channel 757 where SiriusXM subscribers can listen online, on the go with the SiriusXM mobile app, and at home on a variety of connected devices, including smart TVs, Amazon Alexa devices, Apple TV, PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more.
