Launch of “The Book of Mormon Radio” channel on SiriusXM


NEW YORK, June 9, 2011 / PRNewswire / – Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced that “The Book of Mormon Radio,” the two-day channel featuring exclusive content on The Book of Mormon, the new Broadway musical by South Park creators Trey parker and Matte stone and Avenue Q co-creator Bobby lopez, will be broadcast on channel 104.

The limited edition channel will launch the day before this Sunday’s Tony® Awards, saturday 11 june To 6 a.m. ET and will pass through Sunday June 12 To 11:59 p.m. ET.

“The Book of Mormon Radio” will feature interviews with the cast and creative team of the Tony-nominated show: South Park creators Trey parker and Matte stone and Avenue Q co-creator Bobby lopez; co-director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw, producer Anne Garefino and stars Josh Gad and Andrew Rannell.

The exclusive channel will also include selections from the recording from the cast of Ghostlight Records, released on Tuesday June 7. SiriusXM listeners will hear “All-American Prophet”, “Spooky Mormon Hell Dream”, “I Believe”, “Baptize Me”, “American Joseph Smith Moses“and” Tomorrow is a last day “.

The Book of Mormon was nominated for 14 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
