Fidelity Bank celebrates radio stations on World Radio Day

Ghana’s largest private bank, Fidelity Bank Ghana, has recognized the efforts and hard work of radio stations across the country to celebrate World Radio Day 2022.

This gesture was to appreciate the radios for their contribution to national development by presenting accurate and reliable information to counter the misinformation that floods the media space.

World Radio Day 2022 celebrated under the theme “Radio and Trust” aims to highlight and celebrate the role of radio in delivering information that the masses can rely on despite widespread misinformation, especially about social networks.

“At Fidelity Bank, we recognize the role of radio stations in building and maintaining public trust. We also appreciate their contribution to the success of Fidelity Bank, especially as we celebrate our 15th anniversary.

“We therefore take this opportunity to thank all radio stations for their efforts to ensure a credible news channel for the benefit of all Ghanaians,” she added.
